Guei is 16. He works for a bike courier company in Beijing that has loaned him a bicycle, with the promise that the vehicle will be his as soon as he earns 600 yen. The bike is stolen before that happens and, without it, Guei is not able to work. In despair, he searches all of Beijing to find it.
