Go figure! I gave the first movie (Twilight) a solid 9/10, and it had a very small budget. The second installment had a much bigger budget, more established stars as supporting characters, and definitely more hype. Having read the 2nd book, I knew it was the slowest of the series, so I went into this movie with expectations of a slower moving storyline. However, the trailer kind of threw me for a loop as it promised a lot more movement. It did not deliver, even though I expected something slower. The movie wasn't bad at all, I just find it could have been much better. I found that some key aspects of the storyline development in the book were covered too quickly in the movie, thus not tightening enough the explanations needed for what is to come in the 3rd and 4th movies. Then again, what do I know, I am not the target audience!!! I just found that this script leaves too many holes. For a movie that is just over 2 hours in length, they had plenty of time to focus on the details that needed attention. 6/10, not bad, could be much better.
