The Stand

A disease that has been engineered by mankind has brought an end to the world as we know it. Governments have been toppled and society has collapsed. Hardy bands of survivors have been left to pick up the pieces and must begin the long, difficult process of rebuilding our civilization. With no effective centralized government, law and order is left to two main factions one good and one evil. Every survivor must decide who to follow, and the battle lines between the two forces have already been drawn.
