I have not read the books and disliked the first movie but was still willing to give this movie a try. Overall I was entertained but it was in many ways underwhelming. On the plus side it looked great, and Shailene Woodley was her usual fantastic self. On the other hand the dialogue was at times laugh out loud bad. All the dialogue in this film was poorly written. Also, somehow this movie made Miles Teller terribly annoying. Literally could not stand watching him every time he was on screen. Its such a shame because he is one of my favorite young actors. Worth a watch if you are super bored someday but otherwise not worth it.
