At well over 2 hours, there was quite a bit of material that could have been cut out of the film without losing the audience. Unfortunately, much of the audience was lost on some poor character development and some pointless sequences. Jeremy Renner held his own rather well and there was some good supporting cast. The movie had potential, but missed the mark.

You're absolutely right, Paul. I think your review hit the nail squarely on the head.
How would you be able to tell that "much of the audience was lost on some poor character development and pointless sequences." Did you survey the audience after the film?
I loved it from beginning to end. Never lost me, and I was part of the audience.
