Click here to show this review. Ok here is my review. First of all, I am a big fan of Terminator 1 and 2 only. The reason the Terminator movie was so good before is only because JAMES CAMERON was the Director and Writer of both movies. After they changed Directors, all Terminators movie went down the hill... including this one as well. Look, just to start, the storyline is plain ridiculous. They mixed EVERYTHING together from coming back to terminator 1 to 2... to new upgraded CGI effect on John Connor's new role ( which was really un-original at all ) to make him the bad evil character of the movie at the end. C'mon... seriously? Let's start with the actress Emilia Clarke ( playing the role of Sarah Connor ). OK, she look alike Linda Hamilton, that's great... but her acting skills does not match Linda's Hamilton for a bit. She is trying hard to fit the role and you can see some scenes that was awkward to watch and listen. ( unfortunately ) Her problem was that was too cute... The Producer maybe though that a good looking Linda Hamilton would spice up the movie sales? Weird... typical from Hollywood to allow that. Same thing with Jay Courtney ( playing the role of Kyle Reese from Terminator 1 ) They picked him for his body... not for his acting skill. He look like a playboy actor more then a soldier. Nothing compare to Michael Biehn who was a perfect actor for the Saving soldier from Terminator 1. As for Jason Clark playing the futuristic John Connor, he was "ok"... but his role was stupid... sorry to say this... but everything about his role in this movie was garbage. You will see for yourself. Now Arnold, first of all, I love Arnold and I love all of his movies as I am a big fan of him. The only problem is, he keeps accepting ROLES and script that are not Directed by great Directors like James Cameron. The script for him was awful... so many cheesy line and un-necessary jokes the whole time. In every movie he makes, you will kinda hear him say "I am old..."... yea we get it you're old... but you don't have to say it in every movie buddy. Like really. Even in The Expendables he mentioned it as well. And another movie I forgot he did 2 years ago. It's quite annoying now. Also, the script writers made some corny jokes for all actors... GUYS... this is supposed to be TERMINATOR... not BARNEY-NATOR. I don't understand why everything is kinda like "HEHEHEHEHE" oh look a funny Terminator HEHEHEHEHE. C'mon... Now they are doing the same as George Lucas with his fail trilogy of star wars G-rated "a la" JAR JAR BINK... like seriously? Look at Terminator 1 or 2... was there any corny jokes? NO. It was a serious movie which made us believe that The Terminator is a badass machine to kill... not a Disney puppet to use for cooking and lap dance... CMOnnn HOLLYWOOD. Jesus... I must admit I am quite tired of Hollywood now. All they think about is money, good looking actors but who doesn't care anymore about the essence of the movie. I felt like this This Terminator movie was a blending of Jurasssic Park + FutureShop + Terminator 1 and 2 + Titanic + Smallville and BARNEY all combined together. I am very un-pleased with Hollywood and their new Producers trying to reboot a great movie such as this. If James Cameron would of Directed it, I am pretty sure it would been 500 times better as "genius work " cannot be traded or replaces. I am very sad to give a 3... the only good part I like from this movie was the fight at the start with Arnold vs Arnold... but again... it was only that... OMG one last thing... at the end, they added a song that resemble to RIHANNA or KATY PERRY... like seriously? As if the movie wasn't bad enough they had to ADD POP MUSIC at the end of all? Wow... -_-
