WARNING! WARNING! ALERT ALL GUYS! Big time chick flick. Do not go without a date, and even then only go if there is a chance your date will put out to make it worth your while. This movie was recommended to me as a good movie by someone who said a lot of people liked it. Unfortunately, I didn't check their credentials. Turns out all were girls. So, this movie has been done time and time again. The old boy meets girl….. The movie is so simple that it is insulting. You guess the outcome 15 seconds into the movie. Please! Any sort of alternate ending to this feel good everyone wins except the antagonists crappy ending would improve my rating a couple of points. Patrick Dempsey's character is so bent out of reality to fit the bad plot that he fits in right along with other Frankenstein characters from the Halloween season. The typical nice guy you women want to believe exists so you can dump them. Gee maybe there is something here? As a comedy? I managed to cough up a chuckle twice only. I know I'll get hate mail for this, but I need to prove the point. If you are female and like this type of romantic comedy, then go you will like it. If you are looking for something with more substance and isn't fake and a complete fairy tail, look elsewhere..
