Sunrise at Campabello is a pretty definitive portrait of FDR during the perilous years of his illness. The movie is memorable because of Ralph Bellamy's leading role portrayal of the man and Greer Garson ( with fitted teeth and all ) as Eleanor in an Oscar nominated performance, her first since 1945. It's a very real portrait of a family albeit not an ordinary family! It was especially nice to see some of these stars in colour since most of their heyday movies were in B & W. Outstanding performances from all the cast.
