    Spider-Man

Not a bad movie, definitely entertaining but I can't believe it's smashing records. There are some very inexcusable CGI mistakes in this film which make Spiderman look at times like a twitchy video game character. J. J. Jameson is the real star of the film. His character is beautifully done and hilarious. Defoe is fantastic as the Green Goblin but I never quite got used to the "jaw hanging open" helmet he wore... looked a little clumsy. Great shot of M. J. with her tee-shirt soaking wet... family show? I thought Peter Parker was a bit too much of a geek for my liking though and enough already with the zany yahoos as he swings about. All in all, an okay flick but it was definitely trying to please too broad of a crowd. But who am I to argue, it's doing fantastic. Still, this little piece of cyberspace is reserved for my opinion only so I give it a 7/10.
