Compared to his previous two documentaries (Farenheit 911 and Bowling For Columbine), this one is more toned down, less provocative, and more "middle of the stream". It's not about Republican-bashing and anti-Bush messages. It is good, but I didn't think it was great. It works, it gets its message across efficiently, but it doesn't seem to pack the punch that it could have or should have. Then again, maybe it's a good thing that it's a more calming approach to getting his message across. SPOILER ALERT: Contrary to his previous documentaries, Michael Moore's screen time is much less, which at least visually makes it less "about him". OK, he narrates and interacts with everyone, but reducing his on-screen visual time probably ends up helping the movie deliver its message.
