Nan Moore, mother to one of the victims of Korean Flight 007, which was shot down while flying over the Soviet Union in 1983, desperately searches for answers regarding the tragedy. The further she pushes, the more bureaucratic roadblocks pop up in order to push her back. Did the plane accidentally invade Russian airspace, or was KAL 007 engaged in a secret spy mission?
