If I would have made a movie on Saint Paul, I think I would have put quite some action in it since Paul was such a missionary and apostle. The intention of Andrew Hyatt is clear: it is Paul's message that is important. That's why there is not much action in the movie. But Paul's soul is very well depicted and James Faulkner is excellent playing Paul. I understand why he said in an interview: "I did not play Paul; it played me". Many of Paul's most important and touching sentences that we find in his letters, are uttered "verbatim" (word for word) by James Faulkner. The actor also said: "You cannot say those words without believing them. You cannot say those words without it changing you". At the end of the movie, tears were falling on my cheeks.
