The first half is very good. I think the new Superman is more believable than Christopher Reeve. The acting is also a lot better, but that's understandable considering Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe and Laurence Fishburne. The special effects are good, but to me, Superman moves too fast for the camera, that also seems to start shaking annoyingly whenever any action happens. The second part of the movie packs a lot of action and endless fighting, but that is necessary given the power of the enemy. Fight scenes are fast and jittery, it's just too much. Perhaps the execution could have been more precise and clearer. Still, this movie is worth watching.
