Mad Max: Fury Road

Click here to show this review. Well, just came from the movie itself and I must admit I was very satisfied with what I expected of it. Tom Hardy is excellent in his role of Mad Max, I have nothing to say about him. I never though he could be "that" good in this persona of fiction and craziness. Charlize Theron is substancially confident in her role as well. Both actors got me hooked from the the start. They both excel in acting the way they should for this crazy movie. Even the secondary roles from others actors were very well played. I was amazed and pleased. I also love the crazy man who plays guitars.. haha! Wow... not only it's ridiculous but it was actually fun to watch that haha! Good laugh but ridiculous... therefore, perfect for this movie. The only thing is that, I would love to see more scenery about the place where the bad guys live at start. You only see a high hill rock and people down below waiting for "God" to bring them water. But nothing about a near by city... or underground... or village... like in the original movie. It's like, all these people were living..."where? " We don't know... so it was kinda... weird... but a detail. I didn't really pay attention as the movie itself afterwards, when the hunt begins, was way too good and a lot of action that will blow your mind and eyes! ( literally speaking ) But if you asked me, I still prefer Mad Max ( the original version ) with Mel Gibson. I don't know, it was more... something. More interesting... the story line was more appealing and the decor of the world itself was more credible. Tina Turners was also very good in her role. These 2 movies are quite different of course as per the story line. But again, I think it could of been better if they would of put some emphasize on details such as the village where everyone lives at least. Everything was more about the "bang and the boom" more then the actual plot. Everything was alittle too fast and it ended... kinda fast as well. Well... I still enjoyed it... but The original version of this movie is still way better. Cheers.
