Pierrot (Patrick Labbé) returns to Saint-Hyacinthe, his hometown, to see the people and places he loves and has always carried with him, even when he lived abroad. He's coming full circle, closing the books. Peaceful, Pierrot has no fear of this death which is coming prematurely. He asks his childhood friend, Jacques (Paul Doucet), to help him end his days well. The approach, which is unusual, will nevertheless lead the two friends to a soothing tranquility.
