Click here to show this review. Greetings! This is your one and only "The Movie Freak" for a great review at Cinemamontreal.com! So here is my review for this great animation ( again )! Wow... again! This movie ROCKS! Wow... everything was perfectly well combined : Script, jokes, animation CGI effect, voice over, the moral behind the story... etc. etc etc! Yes yes yes! I l loved this movie even though I'm an old dude. Last time I went to watch "Finding Nemo" ( by myself sigh...) I was sitting beside 5-10 years kids... and trust me... it was a "strange" feeling to see them smiling at me the whole time while I laughin like a kid -_- BUT, WHO CARES! I love it! Ok, first of all, the script, PERFECT! I mean, we all know Po's Father comes searching for him... all the jokes, the funny moment, the stomach bouncing... haha! The "not-fully-there" attitude by both of them, the way they speak and how they express themselves. PERFECT! Some of my favorite parts includes ( spoiler alerts if you haven't watched it yet!) The Master when he says "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" After looking at the scroll letter he received ( in reference to the Legendary Dragon warrior scroll from Kung Fu Panda 1 where there was no scripture on it to read ) since this was supposed to be an urgent message for him but the thing is... he was reading the message on the WRONG side of the letter so basically, he was reading the back of the letter where there was nothing... so he goes..."ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!" hahaha! OMG... I laught so hard dear friends... 2nd thing: The moral of the story, well, ( unless you don't know the goal of the movie) ¨Po needs to go back to his Father village in order to learn how to Master CHI in order to counter attack and to defend those he loves so his father... ( lied ).. and told Po he could, and others back the village, can teach him how to Master CHI ( but the truth, is he didn't know, he just wanted to bring Po back home in order to keep him safe from the bad guy ===> the Buffalo dude lol ) SO that's when everything goes wrong! But that's the funny thing... everything is hilarious afterwards. You won't regret... mega LAUGH guaranteed from start til the end! I so love JACK BLACK... I mean... his voice was so deeply funny... every times there was an hilarious expression, he would always manage to make me choke my pop corn cuz it sounded so good and so pathetic! Haha! Well, in overall, I really loved the movie... but I still think... that Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2 were better... not sure why... I felt there was something missing... the story was not as powerful as 1 and 2... it's weird... although I was happy to see him finding his father... something was odd... like... not enough " emotional" depth between the too... it was alll..."HEY, YOU'RE HERE, YOU'RE MY SON, HEY HEY!" and yea... it was... I dunno... kinda strange the fact that, they just meet up after his father.. well... left him behind for so many years to suddendly find him back... then they just... joke with each other... I mean, when you see your father for the first time after more then 20 years... I was expecting Po to break down and cry or something... but... I know it's only a cartoon... but still... if you look at Finding Nemo... I literally cried at the end when Nemo said.." Dad... I don't hate you"... and his Dad forgave him as it didn't really matter... that was deep... and I cried... ( yup, I do cry dear friends. The Legendary Movie Freak dude DO cry for cartoons... ===> if the script is deep and meaningful of course! Lol ) Overall, I give it an 8 on 10. ( yes, can't give more because it wasn't deep enough... although the ending was original and well thought of.) Good day everyone and again, this is your one and... only... The Movie Freak review!
