This movie did not do for Iron Man what the Dark Knight did for Batman Begins, but overall it was a good movie never the less and worth seeing. Robert Downey Jr. continues to own the Tony Stark character with relative ease as he suits up again for Round Two.

Just curious. I checked through your reviews since you commented about The Dark Knight being better than Batman Begins... yet you scored Batman Begins higher than the Dark knight. How come? Just wondering.
Thank you for your reply. To elaborate my meaning, The Dark Knight grossed over a billion dollars and surpassed all expectations in so far as the "Box office" is concerned. The reboot of the franchise was well received and personally I gave much credit to Batman Begins for coming out strong. I didn't say The Dark Knight was a better movie. I simply meant Iron Man 2 wouldn't replicate the phenom that was Dark Knight. Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker and his subsequent passing may have had something to do with the massive audience turnout but that remains to be seen. Point being, I rated the movies according to how I felt when I watched them. Hopefully this clears things up for you.
Yes it did. Thanks for taking the time to respond. And Heath Ledger's performance was incredible, whether he passed away or not. A tragic loss for all of us. I have heard that if there is a remake that Johnnie Depp will play the Joker... interesting...
