A really good but underrated film of racial intolerance coming at the end of the 1940's from MGM. The story will be known by many as it comes from the novel of William Faulkner. It doesn't have the most impressive, big MGM stars stars, but the actors do just fine, nonetheless. Pretty faithful to the Faulkner work.
