This is the most important movie to see this year. The annual, if you only see one movie this year... Very emotional. It is a great balance of making the genocide slaughter of 800, 000 hit home to you while not throwing trivial Hollywood style guts and gore at you. Caution: I don't say none. Just the required balance. Hats off to Nolte and Cheadle for recognizing the importance of getting this story out. Although I missed a bit of what Nolte was portraying as I just kept picturing the promotion hungry, crazed Colonel he played in Thin Red Line. Very different than the Peacekeeping Canadian. But how do you stay sane when so many die around you and the UN doesnt update your orders?
