Wonderful comedy from Vincente MInelli in 1957 in which he is so prophetic in his thinking, who 60 years ago, was able to see the changing role of the American male in Post WW II America. Peck plays his usual manly man character who is eventually drawn into what we now call the metrosexual world of his wife/designer Bacall. Engaging cast including some newcomers such as youngster Chuck Conners who went on to big fame as "The Rifleman".
