Just re-saw Dead Man Down and was more blown away by it the second time round. Within this mysterious world of killers, darkness and revenge is centered a love story that truly grapples at the heart. The constant action and reaction of characters in this perfect crime drama leads to a finale that will leave you totally out of breath, totally spent as if you were a very part of the melée. There is so much chemistry between Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace that their odd love story becomes insanely real as both wounded characters experience redemption of the heart/love and the possibility of a second chance. Think of this versatile film as a journey from bleakest darkness into a world of joyous light. Just wonderful!
