Don't look for the 1981 version here but don't expect to be blown away either. This so called remake throws in Hades who is not in the original Clash of The Titans but has a major role in this one. I was excited to see this film especially in 3D but the build up left me wanting. If you've seen "300" or "The Lord of The Rings: Return of The King", you'll quickly realize that this movie pales in comparison.

Click here to show this comment. I could not agree with you more!!! I feel the exact same way. The producers should be ashamed of themselves for calling this a "remake"!! Hardly!! Yeah, what's with this Hades guy? Where was the fight with Calabusis hand being cut off (yes I know it was but used to change into a scorpion? Please!!) his hand had the ring on it that answered the riddle which was no where to be heard. Perseus's mother Denia did not die in the casket! Dania and Perseus made it safely to the island of Serifous! Oh I could go on and on. Look for my review near the top... The long one lol!! Notice too that the people Jere that say the movie rocked and was awesome, was in majority, teenagers... I think that's all I needed to say. They have no clue about the masterpiece the original one was. Agree?
Like you, I could go on and on about the missing storyline, holes and Hollywood liberties taken with this film. This movie should have been brilliant given the excellent 80's blueprint to work from. It wasn't at all what I had expected with the technology and advances we've made since 1981. Unlike the original, this film lacked both creativity and imagination.
