Director Benh Zeitlin deserved his Oscar Nomination for his first feature film. In this film of survival in all its primeval strength, young Quvenzhané Wallis delivers a most worthy Oscar nominated performance at just six years of age. This is one wonderful independent film that puts Studio huge films to shame. It proves conclusively that multi-million dollar budgets do not always great movies make. A film that must be seen.
