Gene Kelly owned the screen when he was on it. Oscar Levant and Georges Guetany were also excellent in their roles. The only part of the plot I did not buy was that two of the main characters were in love with Leslie Caron. I did not find that she had chemistry with the other actors at all. She was a fine dancer, but I don't think she lights up the screen when she is on. The relationship between Kelly and his patron is a lot more fun to watch.

Great observations about Leslie Caron.
