Movie was sick, never seen anything like it amazing dun think ima ever stay in a hotel again.

Very good movie, made me jump a few times, haven't done that since I was scared at Nightmare Now Haunted House.

This was very good. The only thing that I wasn't trilled about, was the stupid alarm clock, it going off forever! Anyway very good worth the money.

This movie was a let down, after seeing the trailer. Maybe it's just me, but I felt that the story left me feeling a bit like someone tried to trick me into thinking something, but it didn't work.

An excellent thriller to shock all.

This movie started off pretty good, but got boring. We almost left about 15 minutes before it ended, but decided to at least see how it ends. I love John Cusack, and he was great in it, just the movie wasn't too great. Wait for the DVD, wish I had.

This movie was one not only scary to watch, I had to close my eyes most of the time. It is by far more scary then all the old scary movies back in the day.

Why does every horror movie now, must consist of scary monsters and creepy effects? It was about the story... The mind screwing that was amazing. I love how the room screwed with his mind over and over and over...

I very much enjoyed this movie. Scared the crap out of my bf and my friend. Very suspenseful... And it was very deep. I love it. Loved the ending. Don't know what was wrong with the rest of the crowd... Yeah there was so explanation, but why does everything must be wrapped up in a pink bow? Good as is... Left you wondering... Loved it.

It was fantastic. One of Stephen Kings best. Right up there with Pet Sematary and IT. Go see it now before your legs get broken.

WORST MOVIE EVER! Its basically 40 minutes of the same thing and then theres the begging and the end that sucked, I went with friends and when we left we were all saying wow, waist of money.

It was iight the beginning of the movie was good... The ending was sooo dumb I hated the ending [...] pllzzz do better next tyme.

Well... This movie was very disappointing. I was hoping that there would be some parts that would scare me enough to yell... Yet I barely even jumped!!! Don't waste your money on this one... Don't even rent it because they make it seem way too good on the commercial... PS... Terrible ending.

The is a very good movie. It is back to what a "Horror" movie should be. It was more about suspense then gore. The ending had a nice twist to it.

I liked this movie very much, I thought that it was good to see a new horror movie that was not just a gore fest. This movie is not a hack and slash so if thats what your after stay home. It is however a very well put together movie and I would definitely say go see it.

I'm usually open-minded with new horror movies, however the ending was very disappointing and I don't mean that as it was confusing or it was a bad ending, I mean they didn't necessarily explain much. The beginning was very interesting and got me excited for the rest of the movie, so I was annoyed when I realized they could have used another 10 minutes to better explain the ending. Overall, this is one movie I recommend you don't see at the theatres. And if you are curious, wait at least until it comes to DVD.

This movie was downright boring. It was a huge deception, well, to me anyways. I was expecting something scary, something thrilling. At the beginning it seemed like it was going to be a good movie. I was excited, thinking I was up for a good scary. But, as the movie went on, it began to make less and less sense and it just got really confusing, but not in a good way. Kinda like in a [...] Way... Anyways, the ending was dry and random, I'm sure they thought it'd be great but it was kinda lame. Point being, it was a waste of money and a waste of my time.

What a silly film! I'm sure the short story by Mr King would be much more thrilling, since the hotel room's 'evil' would happen in our imaginations. On celluloid, however, once we arrive in the room in question, it soon becomes apparent that this little en-suite can do whatever it wants to thwart our hero's attempts to escape with his sanity, life or soul intact -- with no rhyme or reason other than the script lets it. Thus it's simply a matter of waiting for the end credits to roll while each special effect tries to outdo the one before it.

As a very long Stephen King fan he does what he always does. He never disappoints his fans. I found this movie excellent and you never know what will happen. The movie is fast pace which makes the action always there.

This movie was so scary, This was an amazing movie and for sure when it comes out I'm going to get it on dvd, And watch it agian I'm sure my children would like to watch it. I think this movie is good for teenagers who are in to the whole scary movie thing, The best thing is coming to the movie theater and seeing a thriller or a horror movie just becuase you'll be so scared, This movie was an amazing movie and I think there should be another one just called 1409 because this movie was the best movie ive ever seen I loved it, It was great just to go with my boyfriend and watch it!

I don't comment on movies much but this deserves a bad review. A skeptical beginning, an all manner of of stupid and weird (but mostly cliche) happenings middle, and an attempted twist at the end. A waste of time and money.

Was great until he got " outside of the room " - in his head, I thought it was getting much better when his wife said " the cops are in 1408, there was no one there " but after that... The movie sucked.

I loved this movie it was amazing go see it you'll be definitely satisfied and it's worth it.

Hey people. This movie was okay, I mean, there were parts where i, myself was very scared, along with my sisters, and friends. Wait until it comes out ov DVD or, like, (et it pirated!!) but, it could havbe been better, especially the ending, which totally ruined the movie. Good choice... If you're not paying, but also, if you are not HUGE on scary movies, go for it.

They showed all the good parts in the the commericals. It is not worth seeing, unless you enjoy not going for much of a thrill. It wasn't as good as I exepted it to be.
