Having been a fan of Borat on Da Ali G show, this movie was a bit of a letdown. It was very funny - without question. But having laughed so hard so many times at his previous clips I expected more. Cohen also shied away from the really edgy politically-charged "interviews" that he's done on Ali G, perhaps to avoid alienating his largest market - the United States; replaced much of it with low-brow stuff that he is clearly capable of surpassing. You will definitely laugh, but this is not the "funniest movie of all time" as it has often been lauded.
