Transformers is nothing short of excellent. Everybody's favourite robots are masterfully brought to life in this cinematic adaptation of the eighties toy franchise. The film is innovative and riveting while all the while remaining true to the individual quirks and qualities of each transformer character. A little too much product placement for my taste though, especially since I am no fan of General Motors, but sponsorship is what it is. There are much better cars on planet Earth to mimic... Maybe in the next movie!
