One of the first reviews I read of this movie said "makes you wounder [sic] what will happen next. " This person could obviously be hit by a bus and not know what will happen next. Men of Honour was entirely bereft of redeeming qualities; it was a trite and cheaply done remake of every kitschy, ill-conceived racism-themed movie ever made. The acting was not compelling, and ordinarily I love De Niro. To call the plot transparent would be an understatement. I groaned audibly many times as the "plot", if I can be so generous as to call it that, turned every corner predictably, and shamelessly indulged in every prefabricated story segment available. Worth heckling, but wait for the TV showing, because even 99 cents at the video store will be too much. Anyone who rates this movie above a 5 should be added to a list of people not able to review cinema.
