A masterpiece because Altman has geniunely achieved the interpretation of "real life" in this great work of art. There may be those who are so brainwashed by Hollywood formula films, that they will not get this. You should be on your hands and knees thanking God that you were able to witness Meryl Streep on the screen. Her alone is worth your price of admission. It all depends what your expectations are when you see this film. And finally a film with real music. I loved this film and I will see it again!
