I cannot stress enough how hilarious this movie is... I loved it, my stomach hurt so much at the end from laughing too hard.

It was really funny. The waxing part was funny. The end was predictable. I recommend this movie.

Having friends of Andy putting into respectives of trying to have him not being a Virgin and finding Andy odd as most guys like his friends had been going through being not a virgin to find solutions and ways for Andy to go and help him to get a girl. Andy had no experience and the film itself was a bag of laughs.

Really funny! A film for both genders. The waxing of the chest was hilarious. Even at forty he felt peer pressure.

It was so funny. I can't stop laughing at the 40 year old virgin. He is a crazy guy that never stops doing silly things. You should go and see it if its at any other movie theaters! [...]

As the level of comedy has been dropping into really low-brow stuff, this is an interesting look at the scorned status of virgin, and how altruism in male friends is about helping each other get laid. On a less snooty note, it is genuinely funny in many parts, and carefully avoided being offensive.

This is a real fun movie. This movie helped make a star of Steve Carrell. He has this goofy look on his face and the movie has plenty of funny moments.

Judd Apatow's first real success (in my eyes) since Freaks and Geeks. Much better than Anchorman, slightly better than Forgetting Sarah Marshall, not quite as good as Superbad or Knocked Up.

Pretty good, Steve Carrell is a funny guy. Entertaining. I've had a wax so I definitely found humour in that part.

This is a hysterical movie with a bit of romance tied in :) I've seen it on video then I bought the dvd.

Someone has already said that this movie was the stupidest they had ever seen. I repeat that sentiment. I regret one thing, however, in rating this film: that it is not possible to give it a zero.

Hilarious when it came out. Still hysterical. Brand of comedy that fills the void of so much dry comedy out there. Cult classic for the ages and Steve Carell's big break... Finally!

This was one of the more innovative and charming comedies of the past several years. I laughed so hard I missed alot of dialogue and had to watch it several more times. It has a heart too.

I thought it was hilarious. A work of art. Truly well made. If you enjoyed Dumb and Dumber and Bruce Almighty, you will enjoy the 40 year old virgin as well. Steve Carell plays a very real and convincing role.

This was a hard movie to sit through and watch. Hardly any of it was funny, it was basically more stupid than anything. I get the concept, but it really just didn't do anything for me. Maybe this type of movie is meant for younger teens who have yet to fully develop their intellect.

This movie was absolutely hilarious. I have told many friends it is a must see. It is a pleasure to see a movie that actually entertains and that makes one feel happier when they left the theatre than when they entered.

Well they showed all the funny parts on the commercials. Wasn't really as great as I thought it would be. The humour was not that appealing to me.

This movie contained humour throughout - not a movie one would want to view with younger children but a definite laugh.

This movie is definitely funny and contains some really memorable comedic lines. Steve Carell is hilarious, so are his friends who try to help him "Get Lucky". People who enjoy movies like Clerks. Office Space, and Waiting should check this out.

This was not my type of movie. It was a rather stupid comedy. My son loved it, but he is younger and enjoys that kind of comedy. I would not watch it twice.

I thought it was funny and invigurating to watch just so much like the reality and pressures we face today in society ( the pressure to give up your virginity) way to go a must see movie for those teens out there.
