Great effects and a huge effort, but far too many of the scenes weren't really relevant to the story and went on far too long... after a while I just didn't care any more. The real 25 ft. Tall gorilla here was Peter Jackson... obviously he can't be controlled by anybody to make a movie that doesn't smash you repeatedly over the head and will keep you interested right to the end.
