Thanks to Disney's purchase we can be rest assured that this is the Very Last of the good Star Wars films. Enjoy them in their glory while you still can because this company that hasn't made a good movie in forever wants to ruin this brilliant Sega while on their flop streak.
Glad to see they got this one right. The older Star Wars films are still the classics.

Very well and richly done and tied up all the loose ends. You kinda feel sorry for just about everything and how things change. Can't wait for the seventh part to go on. May the Force Be with you!

This is definitely the best Star Wars movie effects wise. Even though I knew the direction of this movie due to the other Star Wars movies, I was still captivated and entertained throughout its entirety.

The final chapter in the Star Wars saga is the Best installment in the whole series. Incredible visual effects, solid acting and a sense of foreboding bring this film to a crescendo wrapping up the series very nicely. George Lucas could have written a better script for the final chapter, but it does seem to tie up all the loose ends on most levels. Well worth seeing.

A fitting way to explain the origin of Darth Vader. The movie is very dark but I guess for a movie like this it pretty much has to be, but still it's a great action movie with exciting twists and turns at every corner. Excellent out of all the Star Wars movies I would say this one is number 2 of my favorites.

Shame on you people for rating this movie so high. Hayden Christensen takes one of the greatest movie villains of all time and converts him into a childish brat. They should have just casted the kid from Problem Child. Natalie Portman was not as attractive as she was in the first one either, what was up with that?

This is by far the Best star wars movie ever, it is the turning point of the saga and it is great, it shows how anakin skywalker became darth vader and they tied up all loose ends from the previous movies and included drama, betrayal, romance, adventure, and action!

I know that purists are gonna wanting me dead for what I'm going to say, but this movie is definitely the Best one of the five others. It's way more scripted and dramatic, emotionally intense, deep at some points and not only action-packed with little scenario like episode 2, though there is some action. Awesome movie.

Okay Best one of em all, this story wasn't bad in any sense, though I wish it would have had a better showing on Anakin transforming into Darth Vader, the movie was pretty sweet over all. I thought the ending was some sweet material to, yes this movie is all dark but it's a must see movie.

I was a little disappointed. I loved the original 3 star wars movies and waited impatiently for the next 3. I guess the wait from 1983 left me with unrealistic expectations. My chief complain is with the dialog... it seemed stilted. George Lucas is a great storyteller... but dialog has never been his strong suit.

This is the first Star Wars movie I saw so I don't really know the plot (story line) behind the other two movies. This movie was good because it had alot of action which makes the audience excited and you get more interested at the movie. But at the same time, I was confused because I didn't know what was going on. If you are a Star Wars fun, you are definitely going to like this movie 100%.

If you like Star Wars, for sure it is nice to see how all the other Star Wars classics are connected with this one. I just don't like the acting of Anakin and it's a little more dark this movie, I don't think it is a good movie for little kids.

I love Star Wars and I was very glad to see this this addition to this series in the Corner Brook Cinema. I love that everything was explainedabout why everything happened in the forth, fifth and sixth movies. I really wish that they had done everything with less pain on the actors and less killing but thats how it goes. I likr this movie and if you like Star Wars you will really, really like this one.

Although I have given this an 8 out of ten it was definitley my favourite movie. It was a lot better than episodes 1 and 2. I had to take marks off though because at some parts the movie was just cheesie. For wexample: the droids never talked before this movie, and they sound ridiculous in this one. The dialouge at some points could have been better though, but not a lot. I thought george lucas did a really good job putting the emotion in this movie. I felt so sad when the jedi died and when padme died I was so incredibley sad. You can really see the tragedy of darth vader because in the 4-6 movies he just looked like a big evil guy in a mechanical suite, but know you see he had a really sad life. Very good movie, you should go see it when you get a chance.

The special effects of this movie were amazing. There was so much action I kept expecting a game controller to drop from the ceiling! However the dialogue was bad, the acting was worse and the storyline was such a snooze. The scenes featuring YODA were one of the Best things about the movie. In conclusion, the movie was pretty to look at, but was disappointing in a lot of ways.

I liked it a lot. It gave closure to many parts of the saga. It however opened a door into many more parts that could be made of their lives btween this and the original episode IV... but in all I loved it!

I can't believe the ratings most people have given this movie. I have never been a huge Star Wars fan but the other movies in the series were at least watchable. I would have given this the worst movie ever rating but there has to be a worse movie out there somewhere but I have yet to see it. I have never seen acting this bad. The special effects were cartoonish. I spent a lot of time counting ceiling tiles and waiting for this to end. Yikes!
