It wasn't too bad. I enjoyed MJ's This Is It better. But this movie would be fantastic if you are a true Katy Perry fan.

OMG, Katy Katy Katy, I never knew I could love you anymore but this movie made me love you even more! She is such an inspiration, she is a normal person like everyone of us it just shows us that we can all achieve our dreams! The scene when she was very depressed and crying, I found it very emotional and couldn't help but cry for her... we all go threw tough break ups and this shows that celebs are just like us. Overall amazing movie worth my time!

It was extravagant, it shows you her real side, not what this person or that person said. It made me feel good as a person to know that their are still celebrities who are so down to earth, who are just like everyone else. Human. That's all. It showed me Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson. That movie was so great that I could watch it over and over and I would never get sick of it.

One of the best movies I've seen this year. I was skeptical going into the theaters to go watch this but I'm glad I did!! I always liked Katy's songs but now I understand where she came from and all the work she's put into her career through the years and respect her so much more as an artist. I went out and bought her CD the next day haha! She is awesome, must go see it!!

I love the movie Katy Perry. It's an elegant way to show kids how she became. She was just like us and become high rising star. Once u see it u will wont to start practicing a lot and think u will be discovered. Katy Perry in 3d is inspirational YOU SHOULD REALLY SEE IT!

A lot of people wrote that Katy is 'an inspiration' and a 'good role model'. Especially for little girls. Let's get a reality check: Katy 'kissed a girl' and she 'liked it' fantasizing about the taste of the girl's lip gloss in one song and she sings about not having any regrets after a drunken party and threesome sex. Katy's success also led her to marry an effeminate man she was not suited to and who didn't fit into HER personal goals so she divorced quick. She says 'follow your dream' but what dream do young girls want after watching Katy? To be a pop star! Some role model who continually and publicly testifies that her 'Christian' upbringing is a sham even though she would never had become famous without its emphasis on music and singing. Katy Perry is Me-ism, candy-coated glam. Her talent is undeniable, and since it is something she is largely born with, success isn't that surprising. This doesn't happen to everyone and there are Katycats who will still remain cashiers and parking attendants as these jobs are just as important and more so. The important thing is not that you accomplish your dreams, but that you have the RIGHT kind of dreams. Otherwise, the producers of this movie could just as easily use the same message to follow the life of Hitler or Charles Manson. It is hard work to be famous. But I don't consider these men 'role models'.

It's a inspiring film that all girls should see, it would be a dream to live it, and in 3d you can, it's like you're right there living the dream.

Fun and honest. It's nice to see someone write music that is so personal, it makes you actually feel something when you hear it. It's also nice to see someone willing to be so open with her life, just letting everyone know there is a real person behind the sparkles, bubbles and costumes.

This was an amazing movie. I learned so much about Katy. There was so much information about Katy. There is one simple message in the movie that is "follow your dreams and you may not succeed at first but if you keep trying your dream will come true".

I thought this movie was absolutely fantastic! It really felt like you were at a real concert. I was singing, clapping, cheering as if I was really there, only because that's how it felt! I cried at one part, I laughed at others. I would recommend it to anyone. I REALLY REALLY enjoyed it! It is a must see!

She is amazing. Now think that I know Katy Perry because she told her fans exactly the road that she walked in to get her, she told us that to make your dreams come true you need to work hard and to believe in your dreams so in a personal way she inspired me to be stronger than ever.

The best concert movie I've ever seen. It shows a different side of Katy that you don't always get to see from celebrities. The movie was inspirational. A must see!

Went into this movie with very low expectation just cause I don't like concert movies. But I was totally blown away!! The concert looked amazing and the behind the scenes was spectacular. I love Katy! And I can look at her the same after this movie (not in a bad way) honestly I started crying when she did in the movie. I wanted to hug her and tell her how much she inspires me. Go see this movie!

Tonnes of fun, I only knew her music from the radio the past year and liked a lot of her songs, I was amazed at how many hits she was having. After seeing this inside movie it's not hard to see why she is so successful, she is an amazing young lady!

I have to say that I had no expectations about this film, other than just being curious. I absolutely loved it and really want to thank the artist for being so naked and forth coming in this film/documentary. I really really loved it, I never realized the struggle she went through to be where she is. She is extremely gracious towards other and after recently ending a painful relationship myself, it was tough seeing the pain she endured when she realized what she thought was a fairy tale didn't work out after all. It's nice to realize that artists can actually be real. Great film, Great pick me up, and you learn a lot about her.

Katy lets you into her candyland for two hours and makes you feel like you went on this crazy ride with her. Inspiring, honest, and heartfelt.

Look at this movie... Cringe... Look at yourself in the mirror and ask why you were duped into watching it... Cringe some more... Now tell all your friends... And cringe together.

This movie was great! Very inspirational and funny and almost like going to her concert and being backstage it also tells you lots about her story.
| 10/10 | clo_shmo@ - first review 16.7.2012 - age: 13-17 |
Warning - this is actually NOT a Katy Perry concert movie. It's so much more than that - lots of footage of her when she was younger, just starting out, believing in herself, and making it in spite of the fact that the music pros didn't know what to make of her or do with her. You really get a good idea of how long and hard a tour can be, and pretty much come away thinking that the tour and time apart is what did her marriage in. The footage of her concert is great - she's an absolute pro - and I don't think any parent could object to the message Katy puts out - have a dream, work hard, and be yourself.

I loved it! It was really interesting! I would go see it again! It showed me how she started [her] career and there were bumpy for her and there were smooth roads! But out of a hundred I'd give her 100.9/100 :)

How many times are we going to be subjected to this kind of what amounts to nothing more than tabloid trash. Mind numbinginly ridiculous tribute to another made up millionaire for the sole purpose of selling souless garbage to the poeple who believe that they too can be a "star" and make lots of money and have lots of people love them. Because really who wants to be educated and actually contribute to the betterment of society. How about we have a real show about the female doctors, teachers and scientists who are actually helping these "kids" become something more.

I went to see this movie with my 12 year old and bought a big bag of popcorn thinking I would have something to do since I am not a big Katy Perry fan. Well that changed quickly. The story is beautifully told, come heartfelt moments and some goofy ones, you get to know her a bit more, I couldn't believe I got out of there with a big smile on my face.

This movie and is great for advice and gives an inside to her life and it inspired me to follow my dreams and never give up. She is an excellent romodel and is an awesome singer. If you haven't seen this and are deciding whether to see it or not get off the computer and go see it!!!

LOVED the movie, but it's not exactly the type of movie you'd want your 5 year old seeing. The movie is mainly about what happens while she goes through the teenage dream tour and how she made it in the music business. And there is also a bit of her personal life. If you want to know more about Katy Perry without going through a bunch of magazines this is the movie for you.
