Liked a bit more than the second one, but not as much as the first one. It will always be my favourite Transformers movie! There was tons of action. That's something you probably won't forget about this movie!

Wow! I'm glad I saw this one in theatres! It kinda took a while till the action got developped at the beginning but funny, and full of action in the middle and end of movie! But they should've kept Megan Fox! :'(
| 9/10 | lance.g2012@ - 46 reviews 31.12.2012 - age: 13-17 |
This movie is effects and product placement, that's all. The story is long and drawn out, I couldn't wait for this movie to end. The story was poor and stupid and just I don't know it seemed pointless to me. It felt like they made this movie for effects to draw people in and focused on the plot later. Worst Transformers movie in my opinion.
| 5/10 | jer_duarte@ - 96 reviews 5.7.2012 - age: 18-25 |
It was awesome, the action was incredible and the special effects were amazing. If you liked the other 2 movies you would like this for sure. Rosie Hungington whitely was amazing as the new love interest of Sam and the battle scenes were so much fun to watch and destruction in this movie wow.
| 10/10 | chrispinnington@ - 16 reviews 28.1.2012 - age: 18-25 |
It [is] a very good movie. The Transformers fascinate me, I watched all the movies [they're] very good action movies.

First 30 minutes are boring, end of movie could be much better.
| 7/10 | stomasev@ - 12 reviews 6.1.2012 - age: 26-35 |
It's all better now that Fox is gone and say hello to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley! LeBeouf at his best!

Great special effects. Poor story. What else can I say?

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is exactly what you expect from a film like this. It is the definition of Hollywood blockbuster and pure Michael Bay. While I’m disappointed that the film didn’t take any risks, I still liked it a lot. For all its continuity errors and corniness, Dark of the Moon still provided enough humor and badass action to be a really entertaining film.
| 6/10 | nechoplex@ - 20 reviews 29.9.2011 - age: 18-25 |
In general it is a good movie but at a certain point I just found that it was too much action. Some scenes, you don't know where to look because there's so many things happening. Couple of laughing moments. The visual effects are amazing as usual. Shia is great but personally I prefer Megan Fox. The new actress doesn't have what Megan has.
| 7/10 | smily1602@ - 19 reviews 23.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
Did not enjoy it at all. For the record I thought the first one was bad and the second was even worse. Guess if you liked the first two, you'll eat this up. The story, while okay in a nutshell, is dragged out with excuses for boring action sequences. The acting and dialogue are stiff. The extra characters for comedy are lame. The movie seems about an hour too long. But worst of all, the portrayal of Optimus Prime at the end is a travesty to his portrayal in the original cartoons.
| 3/10 | parker_2@ - 299 reviews 21.9.2011 - age: 36-49 |
Too long, too serious, not enough humor like the first two.
| 7/10 | ie.zicap@ - 3 reviews 15.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
Better then number 2, first one was the best. I think Megan Fox was the hottest thing that made this movie.
| 7/10 | gqfaceoff09@ - 39 reviews 7.9.2011 - age: 13-17 |
I was a fan of the first two and the third did not disappoint.

2.5 hours I won't get back. Worst time I've had in the theatre. If my sons were not glued to this film's non stop explosions, impressive effects but NOTHING else, a 3. I would have walked out after the first half hour and cut my losses. Gahhh. I even had the tv theme going through my head to remind me of what/who was fighting for what. "Transformers, more than meets the eye, transformers robots in disguise. Transformers fighting the evil forces of the decepticons"...
| 3/10 | coffeebreak72@ - 27 reviews 5.9.2011 - age: 36-49 |
This franchise has gone terribly sour... The first film was great, the second had its shortcomings but was still pretty good. Now this one : total failure. Shia Lebeouf is great, so is Turturo. Graphically stunning, sure. But as far a contents Dark of the Moon has little to offer. It is not a secret, these film were always filled with US Military propaganda, but Michael Mann goes too far. They should have called this one "Blowing-up-stuff 3". Don't get me wrong, I wasnt expecting incredible insight and philosophical depth from this film. I just wanted to turn my brain off and have fun. Mann can't even deliver that.

Movies are forms of art. This on the other hand is Michael Bay losing it on screen by using every last penny of its incredibly high budget, and using the film's budget on effects that resemble the poorest form of art. It's the combination of machines grinding together, bullets firing everywhere, buildings destructively collapsing, the main characters unbelievabely surviving continuous deadly explosions, unnecessary images of women being portrayed in innapropriate ways, the quickly rushed transitions from scene to scene, and the "eye-injuring" 3D component that makes "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" the most effects-driven blockbuster in film history, yet the poorest looking form of art imagineable. The film is like watching metal, ashes, G. I. Joe's, Transformer action figures, toy buildings, and Barbie's spinning in a dryer. It's a mess in a mess, and it's not the worst movie of the year, however, with so much CGI, this isn't even a film anymore. It's a video game with, unfortunately, no controller." Let's stop watching someone play a video game, and go see a movie."

Wow! I loved this movie! The action is incredible and the visual effects are truly stellar and as always Optimus Prime steals the show! I found the movie super exciting and I was on the edge of me seat dying to know what would happen next! Definitely worth seeing and for me, definitely worth buying to complete the trilogy!

Very good movie for the kids even if it is violent. Got stuck taking a grandson to see it, thought I would have a snooze but was surprised and enjoyed it. Great special effects. Worth the money.

It was crap, crappy storyline, crappy jokes, crappy everything. Movies like this are why some people believe all American movies are complete garbage.
| 1/10 | geode90@ - first review 30.8.2011 - age: 18-25 |
I thought this movie was the best! Saw it in 3-D and was worth every dollar I paid! It's still a good 2-D movie and it had everything a transformers movie should have. A little bit of humor, some destruction and lots of action and there you go! Transformers 4? Yes please!
| 10/10 | james.ewart@ - first review 26.8.2011 - age: 13-17 |
I didn't like either of the first two Transformers films and they had Megan Fox strutting around half naked most of the time so that isn't really a glowing recommendation for the series. However, this one minus Fox, is the best of the series so far. In fact it's pretty entertaining as long as things are transforming, cars are flipping, soldiers are jumping of skyscrapers and out of helicopters and a lot of things are blowing up. Sadly, you'll have to wade through about an hour and a half of pure Micheal Bay [...] to get to all that but, like most Michael Bay films, you won't really care once it starts. Bite your tongue till the last hour then hold on tight!
| 7/10 | jfichaud@ - 100 reviews 26.8.2011 - age: 26-35 |
This was action filled with all the characters we have grown to expect and enjoy with some new ones added in to the mix. It was slick and well put together being easily as good as 1 and much better than 2. Worth an outing to the big screen for the great effects. Although there is not Megan Fox the new girl does a good job without trying to be the same.
| 9/10 | moo-car@ - 6 reviews 24.8.2011 - age: 36-49 |
Disapointing. Not because of the special effects, even though the speed of everything was so overdone it became visually boring after awhile. Not because of the acting, with the exception of the blonde bombshell from Down Under, nice to look at but vapid as a cow. Even the humor was fun on occasion, if a little homoerotic. Nope, the message was what spoiled this film for me. Yes, I'm old enough and naive enough to still expect a moral or message in a movie, now go back to your popcorn! Hardcore American war propaganda was the gist of this film. Even the final scenes with the little American battle flag near the end was bloody boring and over bearing. I'm thinking Mike Bay must have had a theatre full of military recruiters editing his film. I find that many films are becoming this way, filled with subliminal messages for disaffected youth to turn off the I-phone and go to the nearest recruiting center, or go out and kick someone's a##, or hump everything that crosses your path. But I digress. Didn't like it, no offense to those who did, but I hate lies and propaganda, and in this day and age it seems that most movies are becoming cookie cutter projects for the same.

They did a great job in aligning humanity, and the machine transformers. This is a non stop action adventure. It was interesting how the main human character having difficulty in finding a job, and having great not being lissoned to by the authorties, after all that he's been through.

It's a draw between which is better, this or the first. Maybe it is the same old good vs evil, but this is finally what would happen if evil were given a chance. Loved it.

The transformers series never dissapoints and once again it was a fantastic movie. I loved it because of the awesome effects. I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie! Dont listen to the haters that said they don't like this movie cause it was awesome. I would recommend this movie to everyone.

This installment of the "Transformers" franchise was a huge let-down. Apart from the fact that Megan Fox was no longer in the movie, the writing was poor and relied heavily on cheesy jokes and predictable plot-lines. Nevertheless, we went to see the movie expecting amazing CGI and we got that, except at times the scenes were too 'busy' and it was difficult to follow everything that was going on upon the screen. As far as the plot goes, there was a huge gap between the second and the third movies and it was only partially filled in. Many of the scenes were not believeable especially some of the fighting scenes between the humans and the Deceptecons. On the whole, though, it was somewhat fun. In my opinion, the first two were better.

Did not like the beginning but liked it when Optimus Prime defeated the Decepticons. Really liked it when Optimus Prime was sliding on the road with his jets on. I am going to see this show again.

I can't believe I wasted my time and money on this third installment. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice... Did Shia Labeouf do anything but yell at his girlfriend through the whole thing? What a horrible movie. If you really must see this movie, wait for the DVD to come out, have a friend rent it and go over to their place and watch it for free.

I really liked the movie, great action good storyline... the only thing was that it was too long and so many unnecessary scenes.
| 7/10 | desjonquilles@ - 5 reviews 10.8.2011 - age: 18-25 |
I found the CGI was not well-done. Someone spent a lot of time perfecting spinning metal triangles for this movie. I found it incredibly boring. The movie was also waaay too long. For a while I played BOGGLE on my iPhone, and had a long nap towards the end. I liked the flying suit scenes, they were really cool.
| 3/10 | hbriskin@ - 15 reviews 9.8.2011 - age: 26-35 |
Gotta love robot fights and as for the plot this is Michael Bay we are talking about. This is a summer movie blockbuster. Much better than the second one.
| 8/10 | pixxiedust76@ - first review 8.8.2011 - age: 18-25 |
This was a terrible film. The story was so weak this time round; it's not even "more of the same". It's actually worse. The humans are basically useless, so why not just make a film about the war on Cybertron?
| 5/10 | kamodian@ - first review 8.8.2011 - age: 18-25 |
I have no idea why this is getting decent ratings; it had no plot and was incredibly boring!
| 3/10 | anna_webster80@ - 4 reviews 6.8.2011 - age: 26-35 |
What a disappointing movie! The graphics are fabulous, but the movie is so confusing. During the fight scenes between the transformers, it was impossible to tell who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. All in all, it was a predictable ending once the characters were sorted out. I don't recommend this movie at all and it's much too loud to even grab forty winks in the theater! For this one, if it's all there is to see, rent an oldie and stay home!
| 4/10 | renaalexander@ - 32 reviews 6.8.2011 - age: 50+ |
I would rate it a nine cause I just wished for more action, and I could've done without the asian dude. However it was an amazing movie to see.
| 9/10 | mystfic@ - 5 reviews 6.8.2011 - age: 26-35 |
I think one of the problems for the Transformers sequels is that the first Transformers movie was just SO good that nothing can live up to it. The acting was chessy, storyline very weak, some of it just didn't flow. The special effects were awesome, better than the second for sure.
| 6/10 | charrywilton@ - 44 reviews 6.8.2011 - age: 36-49 |
Great great movie but would be way better if it was half an hour shorter but a must see.
| 10/10 | dtherriault3@ - 16 reviews 6.8.2011 - age: 13-17 |
My sister and I went to see this movie in 2D at another theather on vaction. It was very well done, even for 2D. Lots of action scenes and full of the love romance that you saw with Megan Fox. The story line connects to actual events in history. It's not as funny as the second movie but have humourous scenes. Decepticons are everywhere in the movie so beware of a betrayal.
