I was totally surprised by how disgusting this movie turned out to be, I thought it would be a girly comedy movie but it was basically a female Hangover, had some really good laughs in it, great cast, I felt it dragged in some parts but still a good comedy.

This movie was so damn funny I almost died in the first half. The main actress is hilarious - outright sarcastic. Two hours was too long for such a movie, but overall... it was funny.

This movie is over-rated. I'm a woman and I loved the first Hangover, so when people compare this movie to it, I have to disagree. There are a couple of funny jokes, but there are at least 30 useless minutes where nothing interesting happens. Absolutely not comparable to the Hangover 1.

I've watched this movie already over 20 times, and even though I know what’s coming, I still crack up every time. The characters are relatable and “real” unlike so many other chick flick comedies. Good portrayal of real women, real problems, real life.

Worst. Movie. Ever. I don't find vomiting all over a wedding dress store bathroom or pooping in a wedding dress in the street, to be funny.

The first half was witty, funny, and full of fun. The last half was sappy, feel-good, and weak. When they say this is "The Hangover" for women, they're right on the spot if they're relating this to "The Hangover Part II." If it wasn't for the painfully overstretched ending, and sleep-worthy sappiness of the last hour, Bridesmaids would've been close to being as good as "The Hangover." This is a good movie to watch late at night when you're tired. Stay up for the first half, and crash at the midpoint.

Maybe I expected too much... it wasn't as good and funny as I expected it to be but still a good movie, worth seeing it.

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It doesn't matter if the theme is planning a wedding from the bridesmaids point of view, there is no way you wont lose it at least once. Great comedy, every single actress is phenomenal and very unique and funny.

Hilarious. I have seen it multiple times and I still try to convince people to watch it with me. I laughed through the entire film.

At first I thought it was a normal chick flick. I went to the movies with not a lot of expectations. It turns out it was very entertaining, a lot of jokes we can relate to. A 'Hangover' but for girls!

Without question one of the crudest, vile movies I have ever seen. Had to walk out about a quarter of the way through, it was so bad. Enough said... don't waste your time on such drivel!

With a number of over the top funny moments, this movie actually got quite serious at times. The wedding theme and how people are brought together is an age old formula that typically always works. Expect nothing less than some good laughs and a fair bit of serious undertones in the life of the main character Annie (played by Kristen Wiig) Overall, not bad.

Super funny movie! The movie centers around Annie and her best friend Lillian who is getting married. Annie is the maid of honour & tries to live up to her duties eventhough she is broke & unlucky in love. All the characters are funny & have great chemistry Go see it!

Overall, I found it pretty funny. I'm not offended by shallow, spiteful, childish characters if they are written intelligently. I'd say the writing was fairly intelligent. I also tend to enjoy sarcasm and a little darkness with my humor so for me it was better than standard chick flick fare. Still though, it's a movie about women, almost exclusively, with the exception of the cop, whom I really liked in his role, and the kinds of petty things that are certainly more relatable for women and so for me, the score probably dips down to a 7 on that score. I believe most women have, and will enjoy it more than most men. And this from a guy who doesn't pooh pooh all chick flicks (I still remember Fried Green Tomatoes all these years later as a great movie), but would rather [...] than watch a Sex in The City movie, just for reference.

The first movie I have walked out of in 15 years. The characters are shallow, venal, dishonest with themselves and to others, and generally toxic to those around them. Many people seem to find this funny. I did not. Chris O'Dowd (Kevin, the cop) was the sole redeeming character. People who love this show also seem to love The Office, which I also cannot stand to watch for similar reasons; self-deceptive, shallow, toxic people making other people miserable. Use your feelings about that TV show as a guide to whether or not you'll enjoy this movie.

Funny, not your typical Hollywood movie. Dark humor. Lots of laughs! Story was simple but keeps your interest.

This movie is hilarious!!! Everybody should see it. Just because the title is Bridesmaids doesn't mean only women would like it.

Not even close to Hangover, but still funny. I was expecting much more laughs though.

Bridesmaids is without competition the funniest film of 2011. Every single cast member stands out and delivers a hilarious performance, except for Byrne of course. The film is predictable and cheesy at parts, but its likability, honesty and humor balance things out. Bridesmaids is very much a film about friendship and about self-discovery, and how those two things are never easy things to live with.

A few funny moments, but overall, a real let down. For those of you who like juvenile humour - you will love it, for those of you who don't - you won't. How this movie ever rated 8/10 is way beyond me, I give it about a 4/10, maybe a 5, but that would be pushing it.

Pathetic. Pitiful. I waited for it to be funny but it didn't happen. It was gross, stupid, and completely pointless.

This film had phenomenal box-office success and great holdover appeal which is usually a good indication of quality comedy. Though I laughed quite a bit it wasn't as hilarious as I'd been led to believe. Wig co-wrote and stars and although her comedic talent is evident so are her SNL roots as jokes drag on long past the point of being funny. Worth a look but overhyped in my view.

The conclusion is somewhat anti-climactic, but there are several really funny sequences hat steal the show. Two scenes were altered from how they were filmed for the trailer, and I didn't necessarily feel that this was for the better.

I didn't pay to see this movie and didn't see it with a big audience, you need a big crowd that likes toilet humour to get into this movie. Like The Hangover, the movie presents the most outrageous, politically incorrect, rude things to laugh at and with the right crowd it would be hilarious. Lots of drawn out pauses for laughs so the pacing only works in a crowded cinema.

Oh my where do I start, I really wanted to see this movie so so bad, all my friends and family members told me that this movie was the funniest, hilarious movie they have ever seen not to throw my friends and family under the bus but are you kidding me, this movie was way to long, way to to long, I laughed really hard in one scene which I will not tell. But yeah, that was it, I mean I really did not like it at all. I see alot of movies, I am a moviegoer, I see every new release on Friday nights. Back to this movie, I see that it got really good reviews, but this movie didn't catch my eye. I'm sorry you might like it or not, but at the end you choose (Hate Or Love it)
