First thing my gal pal and I noticed where the "older" women attending this movie. Word is getting out that sci-fi's are not just for the boys now. This movie was tastefully done for most people... both men and women. I was thankful that they didn't show constant fighting but grew the characters from the start. It's nice to see the work that went into this movie and the special effects did their job well. Acting was NOT cheesy. Reminded me a lot of "X-Men" and I loved all those movies. Hoping there will be enough in the budget to make #2!
