User's review

With all the remakes being done lately, some good and some bad, this one was great. Considering this was a TV movie in 1973, I was surprised to see a master like Del Toro taking on such a project. He captures the feel of the Horror movies of the late 60's and 70's. In a time where slasher porn is the norm for horror films, this is a great shoulder to shoulder date flick without all that blood and boobs. The house alone is a masterpiece of art.
