I hate politics, especially third-world politics. So at first, I had no interest to see the movie. Given the great reviews and box office success though, I found it difficult to stay away. The film does indeed unfold like Godfather, but a far more slower and boring version of the brilliant original. It's all about family, deception, treachery, love and life. They're all great themes, but not when so boringly handled. I found none of the actors really rose above the mediocre script. It was kind of fun seeing the large star cast together, but the novelty wore off super-quick.
