A truly well executed film from beginning to end. The entire cast truly put their all into this film and it truly shows. Hailee Steinfeld, Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and even Josh Brolin; all were superb performances. Hailee Steinfeld's performance as Mattee Ross, a whip smart teen in the old west who is seeking a black and white concept of justice for her father. Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn; a burnt out, one-eyed U. S Marshall who lives with a lot of ghosts and memories which weigh him down. Matt Damon as the Texas Ranger La Boeuf who is unnaturally cock-sure and full of himself. Matt Damon's performance is pricelessly funny and smart.
