If I stopped seeing movies due to the inability of the lead's capacity to act... I wouldn't see many flicks... Arnold Swartzenaeger... Sylvester Stallone... Harrison Ford... Bruce Willis... Adam Sandler... Seth Rogan... even stereotypical roles portrayed by Clint Eastwood... Anthony Hopkins... Julia Roberts... Hugh Grant. In my view the only true actors are few and far between... Robert Downey Junior who takes a on a wide range of roles, as does Meryl Streep, and to a lesser extent Ben Stiller. So movies come in packages... Bourne Identity movies could have a multitude of replacement actors for the lead role... as do the Bond movies... So SALT chose Angelina... but could have easily gone with Julia Roberts... or Hannah Montanna... Either way it was a feeble movie. Angelina got 20 milliion dollars simply because she is a draw... A lesser known actress would not have brought the patrons out to this soft flick.
