I was pretty disappointed after seeing this film. The fact that they had to use loud noises in order to get me to jump every time Freddy appeared on the screen was quite annoying. After doing it 4-5 times it looses its effect. Even Freddy himself was a tad bit disappointing. The distorted voice used didn't seem to give him the menacing voice I had hoped for. The acting was pretty good. Plenty of the actors and actresses managed to convoy emotions genuinely enough to the point of real fear and weren't simply screaming and running around. The music was also great, chillingly haunting and adding tension to the teens sneaking around. As I said, I was disappointed. A horror movie with no horror isn't very satisfying but there are still some decent bits of acting and music inside to keep this movie from being a total waste.
