This is almost what a perfect super-hero movie should be. The first half that details Spider Man's origin was easily better than the second half, as I found the CGI to be a little too fake. Also, while Willem Dafoe played a great Green Goblin, I found the look of the villain to be utterly ridiculous. Obviously, they couldn't make him look like he did in the comic (green and purple tights and a droopy tuque) but somewhere in between that and what he was in this movie would have been better. No complaints about the actors. And one thing I did like about the action was that they did not feel it necessary to make it a martial arts fest, like most movies nowadays. I would say it was the fourth best superhero movie ever, the first being Superman 2, then X-Men, then Superman 1. BTW: Stick around till the end of the credits and you'll hear the theme music from the old Spiderman cartoon. It's hilarious to hear it in a movie theatre.
