This was a good movie. I think the ratings suffer some because it came out around the same time at the matrix which made it a little less "special". If you like movies that make you think about "could it be? " or "what if" this is one you will enjoy.

The 13 floor is an intelligent mystery with a sci-fi twist in a high tech world. Don't watch it with the expectation to see something like the Matrix. Despite what the traillers show, this isn't an action movie at all. It's a thinking movie with believable characters and a plot a that is well put together. I'd recommend it... especially to anyone who liked GATACA.

13th Floor is a sort of futuristic triller that takes place in cyber space. No one is even aware that their lives have been programmed from start to finish. I like the fact that the hero wins the chick, but... We don't even know who the hero is.

I found it to be a great movie. It had suprises and a great storie line. It is was a thinking movie, that made you question reality as we know it. Sure there was no huge fight scenes but I don't think that they attneded on it. Beside that could have ruined it.

Good movie, not great. The idea is good, but the treatment could have been better. Special effects are good, but no Matrix. I do like the way the film gets you questionning reality. The ending was good, but predictable. It may have helped if most of the movie wasn't given away in the trailers.

The writer is a genius. Comming out of this movie, I actually began wondering about reality. It's a great story, computer effect and actors. I loved this movie!

Excellent story, keeps you thinking. Not a very original idea, but the setting of California-past is really great.

This was a real disappointment. Weak, weak, weak. Go see Matrix at a repertoire.

This movie is one of the better movies of this year. It together with The Matrix are in effects and plots are one of the movies of the year.

Boring, boring, boring wanna-be Matrix/eXistenZ movie... It totally bit my neighbor's dog's butt.

A jumbled mix of Matrix, Existence, and Sliders. No real suspense and I found myself basically just sitting there waiting for the movie to end. The characters didn't do a thing for me and the whole plot and hook was evident from the beginning. Too bad. I was looking forward to it. Go on a cheapie night or wait for the video.

An almost totally lame flick. With a contrived plot, simplistic character development, cheap attempt at suspense, this is probably one of the stupidest Hollywood products of the year. I generally am a big fan of the virtuality/cyberpunk genre, yet this film simply stuck its hand into the cliche grab-bag and assembled a true debacle. The only redeaming qualities, why it is not rated "1", is the moderately entertaining performance by Grechen Mole, and the set design and conception, including some quite innovative Camera work that conceives of downtown LA as a sort of video-game mediascape. Those re-conceptions of Old LA were also interesting to see. Yet a film with so many flaws, acting, plot, and an almost totally ridiculously cliched ending, a couple of pluses simply do not warrant the ticket price. Burn the celluloid this one was made on!

Excellent Film. I highly recommend especially if you liked Matrix. Excellent story line. If you are into VR, computers, and movies that make you think, then you will probably want to see this movie twice!! I know I did.

A movie that's fun to watch. Don't try to think too much because there are holes in the plot. Visually exciting. Gretchen Mol is superbe.

Boring ! Talk about a movie that shouldn't have been made. Bad, complicated, senseless script combined with bad acting from everyone in this film and you get a bad film. The only good thing about this movie is the look of the 1930's which is depicted very tastefully this is the only reason why this movie doesn't get the big fat 0 it deserves.
