Saw Billy Elliot last night with my Mom and sister. I really enjoyed the movie, Mom who is English herself loved it, my sister thought it was so/so. I thought it was very excellent thought provoker for every father whose son has an interest in a profession that some might consider feminine. With Billy's Dad true love and caring for a son won out over the father's macho instincts. It also touched on the social question of scab work and strike busting.
