Cinema Montreal

I saw this film without knowing anything about it beforehand (no previews, etc.). I liked it a lot. Excellent acting (especially the stoned kids). It was not difficult to follow - just don't leave for more than five minutes. The messages are not new - but it's not preachy and that's refreshing. I also enjoyed the script as the characters weren't coughing up "movie lines". It's NOT an action film and it's NOT full of graphic violence. It's NOT like "Heat" as someone mentioned above. It IS worth seeing and is good for stimulating after-movie arguments with your friends.
