This was hilarious! You parents may think "It's just like Kung Fu Panda! It is pointless!" Well, it is not pointless! It has a very good synopsis and I can't tell you what it's about, or else the SPOILERS signs will be on patrol.

Too ambitious plot line. Flat humor. Bad acting.

I am not a fan of the Three Stooges but this was funny in some spots. The Stooges do not fit in with the era they are in.

It was pretty good regardless. The kids did an awesome job. The movie was what I expected it to be. Afterall it's the 3 stooges what ya expect... huh!!!

Actually probably funny. But why did they have to throw in foul language that I don't want me grandkids bombarded with.

For Stooges fans this movie has the mandatory minimum gags that will satisfy you and did have me laughing. Otherwise not a great film.

Really sucked, all the funny parts were on the previews... not worth the money paid.

Go see this movie at an off price theatre. The 1's and 2's reviewing this movie said it was stupid, well the Stooges were stupid, dah! I was surprised at the number of people who liked this movie. It transcended the ages and the sexes. Though I caught myself laughing several times I was the only person in the theatre. Need I say more?

They brought the spirit of the original characters back to life! Well done by all involved! Slap stick has never been funnier!

When I walked into this movie, I expected it to be crap. Oh boy was this good. It had everything the movie needed to be great: great leading actors, funny stories and fantastic slapstick fun. Overall, a great and fun outing.

Great movie, better than any movie out there! The cast brings back the essence of the original three stooges.

Boy did this movie bring me back. I loved it and thought the actors did a really great job in the roles of the Three Stooges. My kids thought it was very funny too.

You should not have to explain why it is, just too far out of date, slapp stick is no longer funny.

Funny, funny, funny. The Farrelly bros, are obviously fans of the Stooges and they did an excellent job in this homage to the immortal threesome. The nine actors who portrayed the stooges did first rate work in bringing them to life. Though they left out a very funny joke, from the first trailer, out of the movie it is well worth the ticket price.

I laughed my _____ off!!! (as the kids would say) And there were kids, elderly, inbetween ages and I heard roars of laughter from everybody in the audience. I was resistive to see this movie with my husband who loves slapstick. I did watch the old Three Stooges in black and white and I have to say that the Farrelly Brothers did a brilliant job of reproducing this modern movie while still retaining the true characters of Larry, Curly and Moe. (They displayed slapstick perfection) How nostalgic! It brought me back to good old clean fun, one that will keep you laughing throughout the movie, no matter if you have seen the original or not. Jane Lynch plays a role so opposite to her one in "Glee," but as always does a superb job. With all the silliness and reminiscence of the Jerry Lewis films, there still remained a heartwarming and decent plot. Is it time for some laughs? Are you stressed out from many things? Take a chance on laughing so hard, you may just not be able to stop. I did and I'm so glad I went. Try to be open, it might just pay off. Sss-see ya next time!

My daughter who is 12 did not like it. I liked it :) It more or less stayed true to the original. Funny bits and the actor's play was great.

Stupidest movie I have ever seen, but still had a laugh at some parts. Wait til it comes out on one of the free movie channels.

The actors did a pretty good job imitating the original stooges. I enjoyed it, but felt something was missing. Maybe its just that nobody could replace the original Moe, Larry, and Curly.

I always loved watching the Three Stoogies when I was a child and when watching the movie, it brought back good memories. I thought they were depicted perfectly. You have to love slap-stick comedy to enjoy it.

OMG, I remember why I did NOT like The Three Stooges as a kid. No laughs and my 10 yr old only laughed three times. Don't waste your time.

The characters remind me of the real stooges! They are sooo hilarious! The whole concept was to save an orphanage! A really funny adventure from there! My brother liked when they did the classic move, the eye poking! This movie is great for a family to laugh out loud! I know I sure did, so go down to the movies and watch it! Larry, Moe and Curly are waiting to humor you!!

While I do enjoy physical humour, I found this one fell short. It almost had too much story. The beginning was far too slow for me. I was hoping for more scenes that showed those patented "exquisite-timing" scenes with their assorted bangs and clangs. There were only a few of these. In this film those intricately choreographed scenes were comedic and true to the original crew, but as mentioned were few and far between. As for the actors portraying the Stooges they were fine but I thought Curly was a bit too burly. (Sorry for that.) On my way home from the theater I was telling my son that the movies in my day always had a four things without fail: Some previews of upcoming movies, followed by a cartoon (usually Woody Woodpecker) and then a ten-minute Three stooges film followed by the main film. Given the price of movies these days, maybe we should return to that. As for this flick you might wait for the video unless you are a true stooges' fan.

I didn't hear one person laugh when we were there. I tried so hard to find something to even make me smile. Right from the get go, some things were even very offensive to me, and I'm no prude. Note also to First Nations who have been to residential school to beware, I can see triggers there for you. We kept hanging in and hoping it would get better but actually left an hour into it.

We didn't laugh once. In fact no one in the theatre laughed other than a small snicker once during the show. Maybe stupid was funny at one time but this was just a big bore, characters unlikeable.

Having watched these three blind mice in my childhood, I truly appreciated the way the directors/actors performed, keeping the original ways. Hope to see more movies such as this from the makers. [...]

Not so funny for me who had already seen the former "Three Stooges" and other old comical movies with actors such as Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Bud Abbott, Lou Castello and so on. However, this movie is not bad and could be much better...
