This is a good movie to go and see. It has a lot of action in it and Rhona Mitra dose a good job in this movie and she looks hot as hell in it.

Despite the fact that this movie is a great action packed thrill ride there are some silly parts for instance there are only two surviving groups one is a group of cannibalistic savages who will kill and eat anyone who gets in there way which is not so bad but they are group is downright ridiculous they are lead by a former scientist named Kane they where armor, they ride horses, and they live in a castle I mean do they think there Knights or something? There weapons of choice are: swords, bows and arrows, and axes I mean really WTF? Anyways this is a fantastic film don't get me wrong and Rhona Mitra gives us a fantastic performance just like she did in Underworld Rise of the Lycans overall an action packed thrill ride but just a little too silly to be considered on the level of 28 Days Later or the 2004 Dawn of the Dead but still it is a close second.

Doomsday doomsday is the most brilliant movie I have seen this year and I loved it from the start and Rhona Mitra gives her electric performance as major eden sincliar and best performances from adrain Lester (hustle)as edens sidekick veterans bob Hoskins (who framed roger rabbit) Malcolm mcdowall (a clockwork orange) and Sean Pertwee (dog soldiers and event horizon) it is mad max meets resident evil on acid doomsday is pure magic 5 stars 20/10. Frankie smales (frankie smales movie and tv review uk)

This was such a crap, garbage movie. Special effects made me laugh, no plot.

HOLY ****!!! I walked into the theatre hoping for an action flick. Instead I got a bloody, brutal, cocaine-high, adrenaline soaked adventure!!! The acting was superb, script was good, the action was spectacular! Must see!!!

This movie steals bits and pieces from the likes of Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Resident Evil, 28 Days Later, and especially Escape From New York. I knew not to expect much from watching the preview. I actually still watched it because I thought it would prove to be an Apocolyptic B movie that couldn't provide one piece of original material. I was absolutely right.

At best I can say at least it was a movie based on a major virus that WASN’T a Zombie creating virus. But it was Escape from New York, meets Children of Men, and I am Legend in Mad Max and Camelot. Lot of reused ideas, like the writer wasted too much of his childhood watching old movies. I want to give it a 6 or 6.5, but doesn’t matter, lots of low ratings here.

I would rate this movie a "0" if that was an option. First of all, this movie was NOTHING like 28 Days Later!!! 28 Days is my favourite movie and I am insulted that people would even consider comparing the two! This movie had absolutely no point to it. The worst part is that there was potential and it went to waste. The producers clearly had the money for a great set, and a decent initial idea... but then it all went downhill. I never bother to rate movies, but I want to save everyone some money and time!!! You're welcome :o) Perhaps if you are a sex/violence crazed 14 year old you may like this.

I went with my friend and WE LAUGHED!!! Thats how silly this movie was, at first it started out alright and seemed to have promise but then it tanked BIG TIME! The concert scene, the whole medival on one side and punk-rock-cannibals on the other side, the fact that there was a warehouse storage place with all kinds of things (including a car) that nobody touched... for 25 years, the fact that the punk-rock leaders head continued to scream after it was separated from his body and that he had a sex slave (I mean[....] ), the exploding rabbit and the fact that the main charecter was shot in the eye and didn't even faint let alone die, and of course her unbreakable car, the fact that the country was over run with cows but the punk-rock group decided to eat humans (what did they eat when they ran out of prisoners? ).. it was too ridiculous to be anything other than funny, go if you want to laugh at a horrible attempt at horror but don't bother if you are planning to get scared... if you must, rent it on DVD... you know what spare yourself the 4$ it's not worth it.

It has actions, lots of blood and violence as expected when humanity is doom. The female villian really captures the role of being nasty. Lots of chase for a thriller sci fi. Very nice music though, more like mad max film in which we have a doomed hero.

Gratuitous violence, even for a "post apocolyptic" scenario. Story is weak - watch "I Am Legend" or "Omega Man" instead.

What happened to all the cows at the beginning of the movie? I didn't like the medival part of the movie! I felt like I was watching 2 different movies! And how come everything she needs was hidden in boxes that nobody discovered for 25 years!!! Come on!

If you love Escape from New York and Mad Max/Road Warrior, you'll love this one as it combines elements of all these plus some extra surprises. Lots of gore too!

This movie was well made. I expressed a good story line that was easy to follow and consisted of numerous action scenes that kept the audience excited. The ending was mediocre but it left you with closure. This movie was very good and I recommend it to people of all ages.

Did you enjoy mad max, army of darkness, and ghosts of mars? This movie is all of those combined, and the movie knows it. This is the best B movie script on an A movie budget you will EVER SEE. EXPECT CHEESE, GET GLORY.

I thought this was not a bad movie at all, I went into it thinking it would be a science fiction end of the world movie and that is exactly what it was, it does have elements of Mad Max and Resident Evil etc. etc, but still fun to watch.

Are you [...], I am reading comments and I am looking at official ratings, and I am thinking one thing people are going dumb. The movie had bad acting, it was unrealistic, it was retarded, it was boring, it did not make sense, and it was too damn long. It's worse than never back down, its just garbage I don't know how can anybody say it's good, you must be on [...].

I loved this movie, it was different and had a medieval touch to it which reminded me a bit of Mad Max. Very cool and very different... the plot we have seen before yes, but the way in which it was carried out was unique.

It's not a bad movie at all... It's funny and just a bit doesnt make any sense in some parts, but I mostly enjoyed it and had a good time... It reminds 28 days later, I'm legend, and Resident Evil but it's different...

I HATED this movie, the ending was cheesy predictable and unoriginal... what a HUGE copy of mad max and and "this is our city" is a complete RIP OFF of "this is sparta" I mean common at least mad max has good acting... she was not believeable as an action chick... I mean common she's a model!! They should have picked someone like Kate Beckinsale! Oh and the zombies! REAL original buddy I mean at least 28 days later was a little bit original... they looked like they had a bad case of herpes! Like these survivor people dressing the way they did makes no sense! It's like ohhh no I wont easily walk into a STORE WITH CLOTHES, I'm going to make my own shnaty weird looking retarded clothes... because that's not a waste of time? PFFT what a joke... honestly I would have got more enjoyment out of EATING MY TICKET!

Pretty terrible movie all in all. The car is invincible, and everything sucks. But wow is that character ever witty. The stuff that comes out of her mouth blows my mind. Plus how she was pretty equal to that girl with the tattoo and beat the crap (I got a rejected note for bad language) out of that knight guy. Wow this movie is bad. Definitely go see it.

Ok. It was entertaining. That is a little of Mad Max, a little of a lot of Sci-fi C+ movies. The Bentley is made of what? It crash all over the place without braking a headlight.

Great story, A mix of, Madmax, Timeline, 28Days later, Resident Evil (1), all wrapped up in a comfortable Goory/bloody/Crispy Humans movie with-out any pity for the characters. Great stuff Really! Hehe.

If you are looking for a "horror" movie, give this one a pass. If you like combinations - think Mad Max (in Scotland), Underground (Rhona Mitra captures the female Femme very fatale excellently), and Shaun of the Dead. Despite some inconsistencies in the script, the movie is actually quite enjoyable. Bob Hoskins is... well... Bob Hoskins... a great character actor. Rhona Mistra is as lethally sensual as Kate Beckinsdale was in Underground. The neat part is the movie leaves open the (slim) possibility that there might be a second film where she leads the survivors against the cynical power hungry government mandarins. It would be very interesting to see if any one actually has the nerve to make such a sequel.

What a terrible movie. It felt promising with the intro, leading the audience to think the movie might actually have some inherent political points, and then... nothing. Cue a bunch of bad gimmicks, the eyeball for instance, followed with rip-offs of Mad Max and A Knight's Tale, cram in some pointless violence and you have a recipe for disaster. The absolute worst part of the movie? They randomly feel the need to show a rabbit getting shot and EXPLODING. A bullet will not make a rabbit explode! Awful movie. I want my money back.

Meh. I'm not against the violence but it seems they went out of their way to just cram in some gore that really didn't add anything to the movie... Guy putting his hand through the closing gate only to have it burst and spray? The suicide splatter... Vomiting melting faces... The action was good for the most part but dammit, the whole tossing around of the eyeball was just stupid. I would have givin an entire point or so just to have not had to see that ridiculous concert scene. Lastly, and this is not just this movie but many many other action films... Corrugated iron sheds and other inert non-volatile objects DO NOT explode as if made of C4 with a 50ft fireball. [...] Ditch the pyros and add some better crash/roll physics.

OK, it's not Oscar material, but it's a good ride. Gory, lots of action and it blew right past political correctness in many scenes. Sure there are holes in the plot, but watching Rhona Mitra gets you past those...

Effing KICKASS, this movie has it all, gruesome scenes, sweet car chases, boddies that blow up. If you are looking for an intellectual trip, go somewhere else, but if you are looking for a sweet zombie flick with kickass mindless violence and dope effects, look no further. It's sad this kinda cinematic genious never wins academy awards..

How do people not like this film? What do you honestly go in expecting? I went in expecting a half-decent, corny action flick, and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it had an interesting story and likable characters along with a great mix of medieval," Road Warrior" and "28 Days/Weeks Later...". If you like a good, bloody action flick, then go see this movie. If you're expecting the next great action film of the 21st century... better off looking at Rambo. This is still a sweet flick, though.
