I've read most of the comments about this movie. I must say I disagree with the comments concerning the actors. I think they did the best job they could. I think what's lacking in this movie is direction. The movie has no flow, it's like they take all the scene put it together and call it a movie. I know the book is long and they try to put the more scene they could but they could have done a better job. The movie goes really fast, it's like in one week, she met Edward, fallen in love, met his family and got almost killed. The book is on a longer period. Naration would have help, like one week later or a month later. I found that there wasn't a lot of conversation mostly action. In the book it's all about the thinking of Bella and her conversation with Edward, how she feels. You see all those scenes and you don't know what she feels or how she really adapt to the vampire's world. They skip most of the conversation between Bella and Edward in the movie. I've read all the books, loved all of them and I did liked the movie. But I must admit that for somebody who didn't read the books, it must have been confusing meeting all these characters and have no idea why they were in the movie. It must have look random. I hope they do a better job with the next one.
