I was looking forward to this movie but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. There are a couple of details that ruined it for me. On the positive side, every technical detail about it is great, the images are beautiful and the animation is very impressive. The form is great, but the content lacked... something. For me, the IMAX didn't add much so I would recommend watching it on a regular screen. Also, I had a very hard time understanding what was being said... English is not my first langage but I always watch movies in their original langage and never have a problem with it. But the british accent added to the "poetic" dialogues made it hard for me. Also, I'm not sure who this movie is destined to. It's animation, so you might think that it's for kids, but there a couple of scenes that might scare young children, and a couple of scenes that you find in your typical Disney movie so... I don't know... Finally, my advice would be to wait until mid-december to watch this movie, because you really have to be in the Christmas mood to enjoy it. I give it a 6.5.
