A movie only-just ahead of its time, in light of all the so-called 'reality based' TV that came out a year hence. NOTHING is real, can be real, the moment you focus a camera eye on it! It devolves into artificiality. There is more to this movie than meets the eye, and so many unanswered, largely philosophic, questions as to the ethics & morality of such electronic voyeurism. The first movie, in my ken, that REALLY asks "What IS real? " Prophetic in its subject matter, I suspect this is one movie whose fore-sightedness will only be recognized, as usual, in hind-sight. Unlike most things that obsolesce instantly when captured on film, this one movie story will always be too fresh. The filmatic equivalent of a "1984".
